Manage tolerance over a long perimeter

Large closures accumulate fabrication and alignment tolerances. A correctly supported inflatable seal can follow the designed gap range while staying clear during opening and closing.

Plan routing and service access

Long frames need careful valve placement, corner transitions and retention. The installer should be able to inspect the profile and replace it without dismantling unrelated equipment.

  • Full perimeter dimensions
  • Minimum corner radius
  • Gap survey at multiple positions
  • Opening direction and movement
  • Preferred joint and inlet locations

Avoid using pressure to correct geometry

Air pressure should activate the approved profile, not force a badly aligned closure into compliance. Correct the door or hatch geometry before increasing pressure.
