Send a clear section drawing
Show the groove, mating surface and working gap in the same view. Add overall ring or frame dimensions, corner radii, valve location and any areas where installation access is limited.
Describe what the seal experiences
List temperature, contacted media, cleaning chemicals, pressure-control source and cycle rate. Identify whether each condition is continuous, intermittent or only present during cleaning.
Explain the project stage
State whether the request is for a new design, replacement sample or production repeat. Include prototype quantity, estimated annual demand and the date the equipment must be tested.

Use evidence for a replacement seal
For an existing part, send photographs of the complete seal, cross-section, valve and any damage. Do not rely on an overall length alone; section and groove dimensions are still required.
